Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder, or PTSD, is a condition in which a person has difficulty recovering from a traumatic life-event. The signs of PTSD can arise suddenly and are often debilitating. PTSD can be difficult to diagnose and is frequently mistaken for depression. Symptoms include high blood pressure or heart rate, muscle tension, nausea, irritable mood, and rapid breathing. In later stages, patients often report being unable to work or maintain family relationships. If you are struggling with these symptoms or have been recently diagnosed with PTSD, we can help!
