Nothing says summer quite like a little holiday spirit. The NBR team partnered with Ohio Center for Hope to bring some festive fun to the professional community with a "Christmas in July" continuing education event, held at a local wine drive-through tasting room.

Social workers, nurses, and discharge planners gathered for wine, light food, and a free take-home CEU, the kind of low-key setting that makes for easy, genuine conversation. Rather than a formal presentation, the relaxed atmosphere gave attendees a chance to learn about NBR's programs and services in a setting that felt more like catching up with colleagues than sitting through a lecture.
Events like this one matter for reasons that go beyond a good time. They build the referral relationships that keep research connected to the broader care community, so when a patient could benefit from a study, the professionals working with them every day already know NBR and what we offer. Partnering with organizations like Ohio Center for Hope makes those connections even stronger.
Well done to the NBR team, and thank you to Ohio Center for Hope, for finding a creative, welcoming way to bring the care community together and for making continuing education something people actually looked forward to.
