Mental Health Awareness Month was established in 1949 to increase awareness of the importance of mental health and wellness in Americans’ lives and to celebrate recovery from mental illness. For more than 20 years, we’ve participated every May to increase awareness about the vital role mental health plays in our overall health and well-being and provide resources and information to support individuals and communities who may need mental health support.
Â
This year, let's focus on positivity and wellness! We’ve partnered with Mental Health America and sharing 31 wellness tips in 31 days on social media to help you cultivate good mental health. Some tips may resonate with you more than others, and that’s okay—wellness is personal! Just have fun with it and share these tips with friends and family to support each other on this journey. Here’s the full list on our blog. Let’s make this month one of growth, balance, and well-being!
