Showing Up With Pride: Ohio Center for Hope at Stark Pride 2026

On Saturday, June 13, thousands of people filled Centennial Plaza in downtown Canton for the fifth annual Stark Pride Festival — and Ohio Center for Hope was proud to be in the mix.

Representing our sister organization, "Medical Hero" Eric and our own Jim Bentley spent the day connecting with neighbors, sharing resources, and carrying a simple message: no one should face mental illness, addiction, or memory loss alone.

Stark Pride is built on the belief that visibility matters — that showing up for one another genuinely makes a difference. That belief sits at the heart of what we do. Ohio Center for Hope provides free, compassionate mental health and memory care to anyone who needs it, no insurance required, because access to care should never depend on who you are or what you can afford.

Days like this one are where that work starts: a friendly face, an honest conversation, and the reminder that help is close by.

A big thank you to Eric and Jim for representing us so well, and to everyone who stopped by to say hello. We'll see you next year. 🏳️‍🌈
